However, these are Service Packs for STEP 7 MicroWin. The program is nowhere for at least an evaluation period.

Hello gpm6_196th,
Not required, if you have installed v4 MicroWIN already (doesn't matter which SP), then SP9 can be installed over it.
If you trying to install it in a 64 bit OS, then the downloaded SP8 will now work. You will need to get v4 incl SP9 package for the same. You may contact the local sales office Contacts Worldwide

    Hi.

    The software the is mentioned in this post is for an update / upgrade to existing installed software. The software is however not for free. only the upgrade is for free. - even if the S7-200 is obsolete.


    The legal route is to contact Siemens and buy the software.

    There's no SP8 for Win7 64 bit.
    Only SP9 is for Win7 64 bit.
